8 Rules of Falling Asleep

How to fight insomnia

The speed of our life becomes faster and faster. Our brain works nonstop. And the night he needs to rest, to sleep. But stress, working at night, anxiety etc cause the insomnia. How to fight sleeplessness without pills?


1. Relax

Stop thinking about work, stop worry about problems. Relax. Drink a cup of warm milk.

2. Soundproof your bedroom

It helps you to fall and stay asleep. But sometimes it costs much to make renovation in your house or apartment so there is another solution: buy a white noise machine. It makes a neutral sound and your ear doesn’t hear anything but this easy noise.

3. Read something

Choose some calm novel or beautiful story. Reading helps our brain to forget about problems. And you slowly fall asleep.

4. Breath deeply

Deep breathing exercise can help your to relax and concentrate on falling asleep.

5. Sing a song to yourself

Sing your favorite calm song. It’s relaxing. And it’s also a reflex from your childhood when your mother sang you lullaby.

6. Dream

Imagine your favorite dream. Thing about it, and you feel yourself calm, relaxing and joyful.

7. Don’t force yourself

Do not order yourself: Sleep! I said sleep!!! It won’t work.

8. Reduce your coffee consuming

Try to drink less coffee.
