8 Rules of negotiation a Job Offer

How to Negotiate a Job Offer

The finding of job is the first step of earning money. The second is get the best salary offer.

1. Research

Search in the internet salary range. There are a lot of special websites.

2. Be persistent

Do not hesitate to ask about salary. Ask openly about salary range. If you think their offer much less than your expectation say it. In the most of cases the salary range can be negotiated.

3. Take realistic view of things

Know that you can’t get more than there is in the market. But if you have some additional skills your salary can increase with the lapse of time.

4. Don’t hurry

Don’t Take the first offer. Take your time. Compare different offers.

5. Negotiate

Make a counter offer. Say something like this: “I count on more than (*desired salary*). If you could offer (*a few less sum*) I would accept your offer right now.

6. Ask not only for money

Good job offers not only good salary, but the extras. Ask for extra vacation days, a six month salary review with an increase or other perks.

7. Be diplomatic

Be firm but polite during the negotiation. Be savvy, respectful and firm. And you will score additional points.

8. Choose

After negotiation take your time. Think. Compare. And choose.
