How to make your site user friendly

The key of making your pages visitor friendly is usability. The rules of usability are important for every kind of sites: blogs, online shops, portfolio sites etc. Create your pages with the rules of usability and your readers will come back to your site or blog.

1. Put labels above the field

The ideal position of labels is above fields. When user forms fields he goes from top to bottom. If labels are above fields visitor can put in information without changing the path of his eyes. It is easier for him.

2. Faces attract attention

Users subconsciously notice people and look at their eyes. It works in real. It works on web pages. Our attention is attracted by face. We look at face of person on the page.

But if person on page looks at something we will follow his or her look.

Empty space improves comprehension. White space between paragraphs, buttons, fields, pictures and other elements of your page makes easier grouping of elements, let them “breathe”. With a lot of empty space is easy to show hierarchy of elements on the page.

White space plays important role in nesting of text. It becomes more readable.

If something looks like ad visitor won’t notice it. Be careful with your design. If it would look like ad user will miss it.

How to Find New Ideas

It can happen to everyone. One day you are full of creativity and ideas, and the next day you are empty. You can’t invent anything. What can you do? How to find your muse? How to blow up this wall that disturbs you to create?

1. Assure yourself that you’re not really out of ideas

Firstly get calm. Don’t panic. Your brain possesses endless storage of ideas. You just need to fit a key to a lock of this storage. Your brain not only stores the ideas, it invents them. As long as you feed it with new information it creates. You can’t stop this process. So don’t worry. Know that this break is temporary.

2. Reduce the stress

The main enemy of your creativity is stress and anxiety. Do not block yourself with the thoughts that you can’t create anything; it makes your stress stronger. Relax. Reduce your stress.

3. Go for a walk

Let your brain rest. Don’t think about your task permanently. Switch to something else. Do nothing. Go for a walk. Phone your friends. Look at the clouds. Listen to the birds. Go for a walk and look around. And your brain will be refreshed with new information. Who knows, may be your return with some new ideas.

4. Feed Your Brain

Your brain needs “food”. Watch good movies, listen to great music, read the awesome books. Do something extraordinary and unexpected. It gives to your brain new bricks to build up new ideas.

5. Gather information about your topic

Know everything about the idea you try to invent. Looking for all facts you can find. Read the articles. Talk with specialists. Think like potential client of your idea. Plunge into your topic.

6. Enlarge the field of your searching

When you think that all has already invented in your topic, look outside. Look in the other domain. You can borrow some good ideas and bring it to your domain.

7. Be ready for the inspiration

The great idea can born in any time and any place. So be ready. Always keep some notebook and pen to write your thoughts.
Don’t panic. Be calm. Blow up the brain blocks. Be ready for the inspiration.
